Safe To Use
Baker's Secret products are completely safe to use and free from harmful chemicals such as PFOA, PFTE, BPA, and Cadmium.
The presence of PFOA, PFTE, BPA, and Cadmium in cookware is a cause for concern, and for good reason. PFOA (perfluorooctanoic acid) poses environmental and health risks, making it unsuitable for use in cookware production. PFTE (polytetrafluoroethylene), commonly known as "Teflon," is generally safe under normal use, but it can release toxic fumes when exposed to high temperatures, making it a less ideal choice for cookware coatings. BPA (bisphenol A), found in certain plastics and resins, can leach into food when subjected to heat, raising potential health issues. Lastly, Cadmium, a toxic heavy metal, poses serious health risks to humans and should be avoided in cookware to ensure safe and healthy cooking experiences. Keeping these harmful substances out of our cookware provides a safer and healthier cooking environment.
